Before and Afters!

Here are a few of the before and afters we have from our house...we wish we would have taken true before pictures when we first moved into the home, but this is what we do have! We will be adding to this page as we do more home improvement projects!

SMALL WALL BEFORE:
SMALL WALL AFTER:
We painted horizontal stripes on the wall. The color used is Natural Linen (left over from the family room). We also created a monogram, and framed it with an Ikea frame. The Hook is from Hobby Lobby.

FAMILY ROOM BEFORE:

FAMILY ROOM AFTER:

We painted the walls with Glidden's natural linen color matched in Behr paint and primer. We then stenciled the wall with Behr's swiss coffee. We purchased new pillows, lamps, rugs, curtains and a mirror. It is still a work in progress, but this is what we have so far!

OFFICE BEFORE:

OFFICE AFTER:

Pottery Barn Inspired desk built by my dad-painted Behr's Swiss Coffee. Walls Painted BM Marina Gray. Lights from Ikea. Window treatment made from a Walmart shower curtain. Chairs purchased from csnstores.com and painted Swiss Coffee. Picture made by out of paint chips.

KITCHEN BEFORE:
Our Kitchen has gone through a few different stages as we progressively upgraded it in stages. When we started we didn't know where we were going, but we love it!

Here is the kitchen after we decided to paint the walls-Kwal paint Tofina. We also added the tile back splash, which was purchased from Home Depot it is called Desert Sands. The blue tiles are just 2x2 glass tiles also from Home Depot. We then purchased all new stainless steel appliances.
This is where we decided that it was time to upgrade the counter tops. We were just going to replace them with a different laminate, but we found the granite mini slabs online, and we had them delivered. It was less than half the price of new laminate. I think with new support for the the cabinets and everything it cost $700. This is however because the Mr. did all of the reinforcement and installation.

Here is the Kitchen in its state today. This past summer we painted the cabinets. The color is BM simply white color matched in Kwal paint's tintable lacquer. We also had canned lights added to the kitchen. (The wall color is the same even though it looks more green in this picture.)

MAIN BATH BEFORE:
Although in this picture we had already painted, tiled the floor and changed the light and the faucet.

Main Bath After:
The Mr. also changed out the counter tops in here to Empador Dark Marble.

Master Bath Before:
Again, we had already changed out the light, faucets and added the tile. There was carpet in this bathroom when we moved in yuck!

Master Bath After:
We painted the walls and added the marble counter top (same color as the other bath). The walls are painted Hotel Churchill Maple by Valspar.
